Contact point in the event of parental abduction

A "Unique Help Desk" launched under the name of "Federal Contact Point for International Parental Kidnappings" has been launched and will be a useful support for affected parents or those who fear it is. The contact point will be available during the day at +32 2 542 67 00.

The role of this contact point is, to centralize and disseminate the information about international abductions of children, offer support to families about the dיmarches to undertake, address them to the competent authorities, handle the cases according to the international law. Two psychologists belonging to the contact point can also offer psychological counseling, if needed.
